Oh my gosh I think I just went to lobster heaven! We stopped by inside the Carlsbad Windmill Food Hall. First time here and we ordered the lobster roll and lobster grilled cheese sandwich with a side of lobster bisque. This is BY FAR THE BEST lobster sandwich I’ve ever had in my life!!! The flavor was on point, and the lobster portions are generous. Tera was such a great person to explain everything such as their best sellers and that their chef does wonders for the prep and execution. I will definitely be back here for multiple trips. Worth the drive for me. I’m leaving completely satisfied and happy happy happy.
SOOOO GOOD! I love lobster rolls but hate fishiness. These rolls didn’t have even the slightest hint of fishiness. Just fresh, clean lobster. The bread was fantastic. The hint of lemon was sublime. The bread was on the large size for a lobster roll. I’ll definitely get the big one next time to optimize the bread:lobster ratio. The is definitely my top Connecticut-style roll in San Diego.
Not a single complaint! Cashier was very friendly and helpful. My lobster roll was hot, fresh, tasty, and came out fast. I can also tell by its appearance that care was taken when putting it together. The price is really good — 26 for the regular size. Additionally, I was pleased to open my bag and see a side of garlic butter and a moist towelette for my hands. I look forward to going back and trying their other menu items. 100% would recommend.

Exceeded my expectations, one of the best lobster rolls I've had. Just in taste maybe. It wasn't huge stuffed but had decent amount of lobster its warm crisp soft roll w garlic butter it seemed so well seasoned not overly garlicy or salty but not lacking at all. This was just the regular size. The chowder shouldn't be skipped either, but should come with one more small piece of bread...
Delicious. Of course, seafood is pricier. The lobster bisque was the best, and so where's the smoked salmon cucumber cream cheese sandwich. We split it because it was so big.
My first dinner in Carlsbad and it couldn't have been better. Tara guided me to the lobster grilled cheese and OMG, that was so fricken good! So good, I "must" return! Thank you Lobster Lab for performing magic with that sandwich!!!
